These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TVWStats, including the website and any companion mobile apps (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use TVWStats

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Accounts

Creating an account requires an email address, a password, and optionally a username. Authentication is handled by our backend provider, Supabase. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which permanently removes your account and saved data (such as favorite teams).

3. Sports data and accuracy

TVWStats displays live and historical scores, standings, schedules, rosters, player and team statistics, and draft data. This data is sourced from third-party providers and historical archives and is provided for informational purposes only.

• We do not guarantee that any statistic, score, or record is accurate, complete, or up to date.
• Do not rely on data from TVWStats for wagering, betting, fantasy sports scoring, or any decision with financial consequences.
• Team and league names, logos, and player data belong to their respective leagues, teams, and rights holders. TVWStats is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NBA, NFL, MLB, or any team or player.

4. Howl Bot (AI assistant)

Howl Bot is an AI-powered feature, available to signed-in users, that answers questions about the stats and games you have open. Questions you submit, along with related on-screen context (such as the selected team, game, or stat view), are sent to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate a response. Do not submit personal, sensitive, or confidential information through Howl Bot. Responses may be inaccurate — verify anything important independently. Usage is rate-limited to prevent abuse.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the Service outside normal use;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other security controls;
• Use the Service to send spam, abusive content, or unlawful material, including through Howl Bot;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it;
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to create accounts or access the Service, except for standard search-engine indexing.

6. Intellectual property

The TVWStats name, logo, design, and original code are owned by TVWStats. Underlying sports data is licensed from or sourced from third parties and remains their property. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell data obtained through the Service in bulk.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TVWStats and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or decisions (including betting or fantasy sports decisions) made in reliance on the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
